Best single slice pizza in the area, bar none. Hop in, get a thin pepperoni slice and walk the neighborhood. In fact, buy 2 slices- 1 for you to enjoy and 1 for a needy homeless person. At $3/slice, moral fortitude was never cheaper or more delicious
When you walk past this place, the smell is so good you want to eat the pizza every time! We like getting the giant pizzas for parties. Another local favorite.
So far everything I've tried, from the sandwiches to the appetizers to the wings to the pizza are really really good. Except for maybe the mac n cheese triangles. Those aren't their strong point. But seriously everything else is good quality and delicious. I recommend it.
Best pizza in Chicago! Stuffed, pan, thin, extra thin or by the slice, all of their pizza is amazing! I've been a customer for over ten years and they are consistently good. Their red sauce is exceptionally flavorful, like homemade. Their calamari is a favorite as well. They also give back to the community by donating to local charities. Great food, great people. Love J.B. Alberto's!
The pizza here was incredible. No doubt about that. We decided to try this place because we got a “welcome to the neighborhood” free small thin crust pizza. It was a great coupon - it amounted to $15 off the order.
We also ordered mozzarella sticks which were only so-so. We wouldn’t recommend them any more than the frozen kind that come from a box. Don’t pay $6 for something you can get at Jewel.
The only complaint is that we walked about 10 minutes to pick up the pizza and the employee wanted us to surrender the coupon - even though the coupon had a one time use coupon code that we put in our cart online. Made no sense. They made us walk 10 minutes back home and 10 minutes back to get the coupon, by which time the mozzarella sticks were rock hard and the pizza was cold. We had to warm the pizza in the oven for it to be edible. Once it was heated it tasted great, but the hassle was just too much.
