Great family style Chicago franchise to get breakfast. It's not as upscale as other trendier breakfast places, but this location seems to be a bit more updated than the last two Elly's I have been to. Sometimes they will be out of an ingredient but they will work around it, or offer you to order something else. That's fine because they have other delicious items that will not disappoint. I try to order something different every visit and I have not been let down yet.

New, unexpectedly great menu with vegetarian and healthy options that are delicious. You can get a burger, omelette, lattes, fabulous baked goods. Terrific service too.

Love this spot , it's a personal favorite for breakfast or lunch with good friends. The Elly's staff actually appear happy to work there. In turn they treat their customers amazingly well. The food is excellent and the prices are fair. Plenty of parking. Awesome!

I give Elly's on Milwaukee 5 stars. We were there at 10:30 on a busy Saturday morning, and while they were crowded, we did not have to wait for a table for two. Our server was friendly and courteous, and while the atmosphere was hustling and bustling, we were there for a nice hot breakfast and we definitely receive that. Our Greek omelette was served very quickly and cooked to Perfection. We each had a cup of their hot tea in very interesting tea decanters, and our raisin Danish was fresh, moist and a great treat on a cool Saturday morning. I highly recommend this local breakfast gem.
