    The owner is so sweet! The place has awesome decor so it was nice to look around as we waited for our food. That said, the food is not very spicy or flavorful but you do get generous portions at great prices. Also, beware the beef patties, they looked and tasted second day.

    Great tasting food, I got the Curry Goat dinner, the Jerk Chicken dinner, and a Jamican Beef patty; all were very good! My wife and daughter said the Jerk Chicken could've used more seasoning, though the Habanero hot sauce made it better.

    This place has been around for 40 years and man the energy is still there when you walk in! The employees are super outgoing and actually know all about the food they sell. I had the beef patty and wow was it good! You can find it in the side orders on the menu, but you only need 1-2 to satisfy your hunger! Definitely will be coming back.

    Tasty Jamaican food. Great portions, decent price. My girlfriend and I each had the oxtails. I had cabbage, she opted for a jerk chicken taco.

    The food was amazing, and the service was friendly and prompt. The jerk taco was some of the best jerk chicken I've had in Chicago. Irish Moss for dessert!
