OMG...I don't even know where to start and how to finish as I can write about this place for ages...
Best guacamole you can get in the city and definitely best Margaritas in the world. Not kidding.
I travel a lot and margarita is my favourite cocktail, but you will never find better than this as it doesn't exist.
I got a test of it back in 2008 and was coming back there every time I visit the city. Then 8 years later... although the place has moved, but the staff, service, food and Margaritas are still amazing. Highly recommended restaurant.

Staff were very friendly. Food was delicious. We ordered the guacamole (yum!! I found the accompanying chips a bit too salty though), enchiladas (also very good), and the brocheta (also really good!). Portion sizes were good. Child friendly - had high chairs. Cant recall if they had changing tables though.

The food we had was awesome! The service provided by Madelyn was fantastic! We are definitely making Adobo a regular place to go.

Guacamole delicious!!! Margaritas the best! Food delicious! Service great! Very spacious! Cozy, warm, great staff! Will be back and look forward to trying the patio area. Four stars cause the octopus was just ok. Everything else was super delicious!

A friend from work invited me to go to Adobo with her. Since we both are from Tucson, the idea of getting Mexican food in Chicago seemed strange. But I was so wrong! From the tableside guacamole to the fresh tortilla chips to my chicken enchiladas with a mole to die for it was perhaps one of the best Mexican meals I've ever had! Additional bonus: they're across the street from the Second City! ????
