Súper cozy but big enough to be the perfect space to study and concentrate. It seems like a place that won’t get crowded easily so you can always find a table. It is also a nice place to hangout with friends. They have a really good variety of drink options from chai coffees to bomb Bloody Marys.
This cafe has a great downtown location with a spacious and social environment perfect for getting a quick bite, going on a date, studying, or getting some work done. Prices are typical for a cafe, not cheap but not outrageously expensive either. There is a lot of comfortable seating so there is no wait time for a table and their Lates and pastries are amazing!
Very cozy cafe to get a bite or just coffee. The food was tasty and the ambiance was very comfortable. The latte and cappuccino drinks we ordered were delicious. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich and an order of French toast. Both meals were satisfying. It seems many locals come to just hang out and read or meet with friends and enjoy a nice meal or beverage.
You should wake up early to get in line before 7:30am if you want a shorter wait time (about a 30 min difference compared to over an hour). The Monte Cristo and Classic Benedict were AMAZING!!! I can't believe how delicious the food was... Everything was so savory... The service was a plus! I loved this place so much!!!
Went here on a Thursday at 930a and waited in line for an hour. I had the french toast sampler and it was as delicious as stated. The homemade raspberry jam they have on the tables is also superb. Wasn't impressed by their grilled potatoes, they were dry and not that flavorful. Worth visiting once if you're in IL , but go on a weekday if you can.
