Sarpino’s Pizzeria Chicago - Lincoln Park

I normally consider Sarpino’s as one of my go-to pizza ordering options. Last night’s order has my questioning whether I should order from the LP location again. One of their options is how you want the crust cooked. I always select thin crust and we’ll done. Instead of the crust being well done, my toppings were all dry and burnt looking, with a soft white doughy crust. No. That’s not what I ordered. I love their salads though and mine last night was great as usual.

The pizzas have ALWAYS been great over the 6-7 years or so years that we have started patronizing them. I NEVER rely on delivery, I ALWAYS pick up myself. This assures me of a hot pie. Last night was the first time there was a minor screwup. Ordered thin crust and cut in squares but got regular crust and cut in slices. It was 2 in the morning on a Tuesday so they were not busy and cannot blame it on that. Really no big deal but just enough to not give them 5 stars. Pizza was still outstanding.

I have always had great experiences with ordering online from them, only once was the order a tad late. Given the time (3:00 AM) I didn't mind too much, but they even gave me the pizza for free given the situation. Food was great, a quite diverse selection as well. Would recommend the calzones and pizza the most.
