Even though this place is in a ruff area the food is really good and prices are reasonable. I had a gyro burger and was one of the best I had.
They have meal specials. They're fast and friendly. Great restaurant in the Englewood neighborhood to dine in or get it to go. Most of Chicago Police Officers eat here. It saves you time if you call ahead to place your order. Good value.
This place is amazing. The chicken sandwhich is super super delicious.it is not greasy and does not leave your hands all sticky after eating like at other places. The cashier was amazing. She was super cool and really nice. Always had a smile and was pleased to be helping us out. I will definitely be back for more.
We could not find a casual place to eat that was relatively close and reasonable without being fast food chain, until we came upon Nick's Gyro. The menu has a little bit of something for everyone, so it seems. Had the Gyro with fries. Couldn't even begin to eat everything. But I wanted to, so good!Dolma was good. Husband and son say the red velvet cake was good as well! Son had teriyaki chicken wings and loved them. Wish we had times to try them again.
Living in Wisconsin, I try getting authentic foods whenever traveling. What I notice about Nick's gyro bread is that it's fresh and seems home made... the sausage pizza was also pretty good. Although After spending $16 one would be right to request and expect a free cup of ice. I didn't get that, BUT, I did manage to get ice from Nick's. I just didn't use their $.85 cup for it!
