Golden Nugget Pancake House

I told them I wanted my bacon black, like a crispy pile of ash. And yet, I got stretchy, gross, half cooked bacon. I don't know how many times I've asked for crispy bacon, but I guess I have go back to the South for people who actually aren't afraid of pork.

The Omelette I ordered last night was absolutely impeccable. They have four egg omelettes to start with. My omelette consisted with ham onion and mozzarella cheese, the pancakes were like mini cakes they were excellent. I have never had pancakes like this before I guarantee that you enjoying without question. The coffee tasted very well, the wait staff was extremely polite and very helpful and always tentative. Without question I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The prices are excellent they have a good-sized parking lots and I guarantee that you enjoy your stay

I loved the food and there is really great service. All the people who work there are so friendly and welcoming. The food is also great! You can choose a variety of foods like sweet or salty. Very good!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! One of the last of these wonderful diners in Chicago. GREAT food, friendly servers, parking, clean and just simply wonderful.
Chicago is quickly losing all of unique places, but Golden Nugget is hanging in there. Great for single diners, families, groups off friends or anyone looking for a bite after a night of celebrating.
Please never go away-Chicago is almost completely disappeared and unrecognizable to natives! God bless ya Golden Nugget!

This is one of my go to places when I visit Chicago. When you've caught an early flight and you're tired, you still want breakfast and keep the coffee coming. They have a vast selection of breakfasts, and because the area is extremely diverse you're able to really have choices. Casual dining and moderately priced.
