Trust me and eat the following incredible dishes: grilled octopus appetizer ($16), grilled sea bass and garlic noodles ($31), and coconut creme brulee with passionfruit glaze ($9).

You'll be too engrossed in your dishes to notice the other patrons sitting millimeters away in the cramped space or to be angry about North Beach's lack of parking.

    This place is that good.

My cubana was good and filling. The reasonable price included a choice of chips or a drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will go back to try other menu items.

Overall Saucy Porka is quite good, but I'd be careful to find something you like. The egg rolls in particular here are excellent, and I think they're the single best example of the kind of fusion cuisine they're trying to pull off. The sandwiches, at least the non-vegetarian ones, are also great. The tofu sandwich was slathered with, I think, plum sauce? That totally overwhelmed the dish, so I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm also not a fan of the soups. Definitely go for a sandwich and an egg roll.

Wow! What an incredible dining experience. The tostones were amazing, the beet/sweet potato salad was SO great, the sandwiches were served warm and the fillings were abundant. Excellent, friendly service and prices were very fair. Highly recommended!

Edit: On a second visit, turnover was high enough such that the food came out hot and fresh.

A great balance of fusion flavours that taste like someone who cared cooked it. The Asian style paella rice bowl could have used some more meat for the price.

The shredded meat was on the soft side.

    The food was not hot.

    Service was excellent.
