Always excellent food, we are surprised that it’s not more crowded!
We have been to Langhe Market many times and just love it. It is a neighborhood gem like its sister restaurant Osteria Langhe, but more casual and generally emptier. The plin is arguably the best dish in chicago right now, but all the pasta and desserts are amazing. The grigliata on Mondays and all you can eat pasta night are also both fantastic deals (and delicious to match.) Seriously, don't miss this place!
The arancini are some of the best I've ever had, and I lived in Rome for a summer. My family is Northern Italian, and I spent every summer in Milan and Liguria every summer. Their menu is constantly shifting, the pastas are made fresh in-house and so are the sauces pasta sauces. It is very unpretentious place and the quality of Italian food you get for the price is unbeatable.
New owner and they have authentic Italian cuisine, not Americanized Italian! Fresh ingredients and great wine selection. They have special events several nights per week with grilled food, wood oven baked pizzas and wine tastings. New neighborhood gem!
