Beautiful Irish bar in the west loop. Looks right out of a movie.

This place is awesome!

If you’re looking for good food, good drinks, a comfortable atmosphere and a little history, this is the spot.

The better half and I planned on getting apps and burgers but settled on apps and beers as they were HUGE. The nachos are a step up from most of the bar nachos I’ve had and the potato boxty was epic. The apps are pretty filling so maybe split one with someone and leave room for entrees.

The bartender/server was really nice and even though it looked like he was the only one working, he seemed to be keeping up with the guests just fine.

The atmosphere is really nice, it’s big but feels smaller and cozy. They have TouchTunes which is nice but even when it wasn’t playing the music selection was nice.

I think my only criticism is the price of the Guinness drafts. For an Irish spot I would hope they would be a little more reasonable but all in all it’s not like it’s the most I’ve paid for it lol
It’s not a big enough deal to keep this place from being 5starts by any stretch.

Incredible service, especially considering how crowded Emmit's can get. I met up with a group of ten friends, and the waitress never kept us waiting. When it was time to pay, we find out that she had kept separate checks for each of us, without us ever having asked.

Nice friendly staff.
Everything inside is old but the staff makes you happy and you give 5 stars.
