Emperor's Choice

Reasonable prices for food. My first time here and I’m pleased. I asked the waitress for her recommendation and she didn’t go wrong. I finished it all and it was really good.

Good thing too is that my order it was supposed to be spicy, and it was, but not super hot to make you feel sick.

Large portions, so order only one dish per person or it would be too much.

Fast service. Good food and reasonable price. Can’t get any better.

Today was first time both visting Chinatown and eating at Emperor’s Choice. Everything was amazing—very neat and clean, and lots of shops to explore. The service at EC was quick, and the host and the waiter were hospitable and patient. I ordered the Chinese broccoli with garlic, which was well-steamed and well-measured, at least with respect to the ratio of garlic to broccoli. The portions are large for sharing in the style of genuine Cantonese cooking. Once the meal is over, they provide fortune *and* sugar cookies for dessert, the latter I found a very pleasant surprise. Looking forward to returning!

Honestly, probably the best Chinese food I've ever had, and I've been to a lot of China towns across the country. The places I've been to in Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and San Diego do not compare. Every dish was absolutely perfect!

Overall it was great everything. Seating is a bit tight but manageable. Food and service was great. Clean and mildly quiet atmosphere.

Consistently great! Love the food, the atmosphere is fine, if not exceptional. It's cosier than some of the cavernous restaurants in Chinatown, but big enough to handle several large parties easily.
