    I haven't been here for a while, the food is tasty, but not as good as years ago. The service is still the same fairly quick considering the crowd. 3.5 ⭐stars ⭐

    Good place to get soul food. They serve mac and cheese, yams, smothered pork chops, fried cat fish etc. Prices are very good. The food is usually fresh, seasoned well and very flavorful but in my opinion the restaurant is not managed very well. If possible, avoid going on a Sunday; I’d recommend going during off-peak times.

    Dining Area could use improvement but food is as it's always been...

    Totally Soul Food for your palate! From short beef ribs to fried catfish, from warm peach cobbler to chilled banana pudding, from steamed cabbage to collard greens, and black eyed peas to Lima beans and smothered steak/onions w/ rice and gravy! There you have IT! When you need a fix, this place has the solution for your hunger with generous portions!

    Stopped by MacArthur's last night to pick up dinner for the family.
    I went a little crazy with the orders. I ordered Turkey Leg w/greens
    mac & cheese, Short Ribs w/mashed potatoes & corn, 3 Fried Chicken
    dinners w/greens and Mac & Cheese, The food was delicious, the short
    ribs were very tender, their fried chicken is the best and the Mac & Cheese
    was very good also.
