you go to a restaurant for the food---you come back for the service. This new addition to the Hyde Park culinary scene has BOTH. The service is excellent! The food is quite good. It will be my regular neighborhood restaurant where I take family and frends and where I enjoy a quiet meal alone. Lovely!!!

I visit the restaurant couple weeks back for dinner on Saturday. The place was full, however we did not wait long, to be seated outside. Drinks and appetizers came fast, and food was excellent. I order the octopus appetizers and a pasta special for the day. All very good. All home made deserts, all excellent. This is absolutely the best restaurant in Hyde Park.

We visited the restaurant friday night. It was very busy, but they still managed to accommodate us very quickly.We really liked the cozy atmosphere and the wonderful music. All the while our waiter made sure that we were feeling good and that we were not missing anything.
The food was simply magnificent and complemented perfectly with the wonderful Italian wine. Thank you for having a great evening, we'll see you again soon

Magnificent. Was inspire to eat here after watching the classic film, lady and the Tramp, a movie which make me crave noodle very deeply.
When I get to restaurant I order the noodle like in the movie. Unfortunate for me, I show up alone and no one will eat the other end of the noodle like the Tramp dog in the movie. I ask my waiter and he laugh. Was upset because this was not the service I had wish to pay for.
Ate whole plate of noodle by myself though. Then I was too full but still eat dessert. Incredible.
Yes, it was a delicious set of meal.
Still I leave feeling lonely, wishing a therapist could simply exist in this place who speak my language and maybe later share a single string of noodle with me.
Overall I had astronomical time in all of the dining meal situation experience

I really like Ascione Bistro. Very homey and comfortable. Service is always impeccable. The staff knows the menu very well. Appetizers are good, drinks are excellent, food is amazing. Portions are perfect. Desserts are worth it and generally shareable.
