I am beyond excited that the space that was formerly Meet Fresh is back with a wonderful dessert place that has the same exact desserts Meet Fresh has. The five stars is for the dessert - I tried the plum sweet potato fries and was really disappointed because we didn't taste the plum at all / they were regular fine sweet potato fries, but I would give the other food a chance because there's a lot that sounds yummy. If you are craving plum flavored sweet potatoes, I do have to recommend Taipei Cafe.

The server is very sweet and attentive. The dessert was cold and refreshing, not overwhelmingly sweet.

10-15 min wait time and boba is a little chewy but the employees are very kind. The drinks in the picture are the strawberry green tea and the strawberry milk tea. (Definitely get less sugar %)

Awesome place for taro ball dessert. Have been to this place multiple times for the dessert and can’t have enough of it. I ordered the signature coconut taro ball with grass jelly and taro ball no. 2. What surprised me is the Oat goes really well with the dessert. Overall are great, except the red bean is a bit too sweet.

Highly recommended. The place is spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Refreshing and satisfying Asian dessert, drink, and snack cafe!

We stumbled upon this cafe after scouring Chinatown for an authentic place for bubble tea, fruit teas, dessert, and late night snack. The service here was great—cashier was friendly and manager was eager to welcome us in. The spicy chicken wings were crispy, light, and tender. The signature taro bowl with coconut milk had a surprising variety of toppings —colorful mochi bites, red beans, tapioca, grass jelly, barley, and a real piece of taro! The ambiance was clean, modern, young, and lively.

Can’t wait to go back again to try their other options!
