The only real downside about the experience was the price. Almost $14 after tax for what you get is too expensive. Bring the price below $10 and people will come back. This is one of those places you try and like, but will not return because it’s simply not worth the money. 6.3/10
We love coming here and ordering off Duck Duck Goat's takeout menu. Getting a reservation at Duck Duck Goat can be tough, but being able to just order from the takeout menu and eat at this fantastic little patio is one of my favorite weekend activities and if I lived near here I'd probably come way too often. The bone marrow dumplings are simply one of the best things I've ever had. The Dan Dan noodles were great. Just everything is always so good! Ducking love it!
Recommend to go there and man it was worth it. I had Tangerine chicken and white rice. Fresh and Yummy. Came out really quick.
My sister had and loved the Pineapple Fried Rice.
They didn’t offer the usual menu due to winter (and maybe also COVID?) and also offered a subset of menu from the main restaurant (suck duck goat). Although a bit disappointing, we still ordered the duck fried rice and char siu baos. The food was pretty good, and the portion of the fried rice was also pretty large. The bao was a bit small, and I missed the softer texture in the more traditional Chinese baos. Overall it’s not too bad, but just be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes as many pick-up orders at the same time.
The first time I came here, it was for the shaved ice. HOWEVER, the chili noodles and chicken in the scallion pancake blew my mind. It is probably one of the most delicious things I've eaten in Chicago and I have dreams about those noodles. Can't wait to come back over and over and over again!
