Black & Caspian became my new favorite spot in Lakeview. Beautiful ambiance and delicious food.

I met some friends for dinner. We tried seafood risotto and salmon, Adana kebab as well, everything was just excellent ????.

It was the best rack of lambs ive ever had in Chicago!
Well recommended place with warm, friendly, professional service.
The quality level of the food is above most places in the neighborhood.
Also if anyone is curious about how Turkish wines taste like, go have some at Black&Caspian! They have some in there.

What happened next was captured in a fast-moving video that, like the Zapruder film, I have watched dozens of times. There is a piece of paper on a stick planted in a birthday cake. Then it is on fire. The birthday boy tries to blow it out. He fails. A powerful wind comes out of nowhere. It raises sparks from the fire. The birthday boy’s balloon hat starts to tremble, then shoots straight up in the air like an Apollo rocket. It hits the ceiling. Chaos reigns. Many thoughts went through my head at that moment. I wondered, briefly, why anyone trusted me with an expense account. But the dominant idea was: Black and Caspian, where have you been all my life?

I recommend this restaurant to everyone. I was surprised by the quality of food in the restaurant. People are very nice too. They were always helpful and smiling. It is the best modern mediterranean restaurant I have visited in Chicago with 2 friendly owners from Azerbaijan and Turkey. Moreover, prices are quite reasonable. Going to visit this place over and over and invite all my friends as well.

This place has such a beautiful atmosphere, The meals and service were above my expectations. We surely enjoyed the vibes of this restaurant. Awesome spot to take my family out for lunch.if you love wine go for it.
