Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Esquire Chicago

Celebrated a 21st birthday on 3/14 and the employees at this location made us feel like superstars. We were greeted by a very kind host who sat us shortly after we arrived. When we were seated, it took an extra couple minutes to be greeted. The same host noticed and quickly got us bread, water, and our server. The manager also stopped over to wish my boyfriend a happy birthday. He gave us a complimentary drink as well that he picked out for us. The drink is a new favorite! The manager also made sure to check in later in the meal to see if we were enjoying ourselves. Our server was attentive and brought out a special dessert at the end and sang happy birthday. Our meal was also delicious and the strip steak was cooked to perfection. The sweet host and amazing manager were the highlight of our dining experience. We have other Cooper’s Hawk locations closer to us but we will be making trips out to the Chicago location because of the great service we received. Thank you for making my boyfriends birthday dinner so memorable!!!

Amazing restaurant! I went there with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day and we loved it. We made a reservation and we were seated promptly, everyone is very attentive and helpful. Our waitress was AMAZING, gave us recommendations, made conversation with us, really friendly and outgoing. The food was delicious. The service overall was exceptional. Huge selection of wines, they give you 2 free tastings per person. Also, they have this wine tasting bar which is pretty cool. LOVED IT!

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in my life. Eric Fox, the Area Director, was so kind. When we first arrived, we wondered what was upstairs and Eric took the time to walk us through the space. He then got us a table upstairs, brought us his favorite wine to taste and walked us through multiple menu options. Bruce was our server and he was lovely. Being a Catering Sales Manager for Kimpton, Eric also asked Heather to meet with me for a few minutes while she was with the party downstairs. She was so kind and took the time to chat with me and I look forward to connecting with her in the future. After 10 minutes at the restaurant, my friend and I cancelled our existing dinner reservation in the West Loop to remain here for the remainder of our night. Our intention was to try a glass or two of wine at Cooper Hawks and be on our way, but the hospitality we experienced kept us here enjoying our evening. Thank you Eric, Bruce, Heather and the rest of Cooper Hawk Esquire team!! We will 1000% be back and recommend to everyone we know. 10/10.

This Cooper's Hawk downtown Chicago is gorgeous. It's the biggest one in the Chicagoland area, beautiful with great views of the surrounding skyline. They also have a larger wine selection so it doesn't run out like the other locations have at different times. Our waiter Anthony, was knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. This was already one of my favorite restaurants with great good and reasonable prices but this location makes the experience exceptional. Go here, I know you won't be disappointed!
