Amazing food! We started with the Brussels Sprout appetizer which was delicious. My wife had the strawberry salad and I had the hot beef, both we highly recommend. We will definitely be back to sample the other items on the menu. Service was great. Good lunch spot.
I had a wonderful time at Dakota eating breakfast today. The avocado toast is so delicious and the potatoes are addictive. They use multiple types of potatoes, sweet, russet, I even think I saw purple potatoes in there. It was all seasoned perfectly. The citrus salad is a perfect pairing for the avocado toast. We will be back very soon. Strong coffee too!!
Nice find! Good food and atmosphere. Loved the open air seating too. Only complaint is that the high tables/stools are very uncomfortable and cheaply made (i know this is off topic for a restaurant review). My wife's feet were dangling and couldn't get comfortable to enjoy her meal. Stools were hard flimsy metal which made for an uncomfortable experience. Really hope the owners read this and replace the high tops at the front of the restaurant. Kills the whole indoor/outdoor experience. Seems like everyone is jumping on the "industrial look" design bandwagon but as cool as it might look - VERY uncomfortable.
We had the nachos, brussel sprouts and skirt steak... all were delicious! Felt like a home made meal with fresh ingredients. Great cocktails and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!
This a new place in the place of the former Mia Familia. Very clean, modern casual menu, nice wine selection. Food was well prepared & the staff was attentive. However, delivery from the kitchen was less than timely. All were served at the same time but one dish. When brought to the attention of the waitress, we told it was in the oven. I don't make my omelet in the oven; does anyone? Other staff noticed & checked two more time. Clearly they missed the item. It did come but after some of us were done. Most places would have comped the dish. On street parking some metered. Maybe free parking in the church parking lot on the next block. New restaurant hopefully will get their act together. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
