Devil Dawgs Wicker Park

I'm not from Chicago. I think most street food outside of Philadelphia is okay at best. I would never order a mess like this Chicago dog but I wanted to give it a try. It's legit. Every ingredient compliments the others, and they all combine to meld just about perfectly with a well seasoned beef hot dog. I expected the bun to be soggy. It wasn't. Nice job!

Do not order the “Bulldawg”. Coleslaw had way too much Mayo. The whole thing looked awful and tasted pretty sub-par. I’m sure they have great things here but I would recommend staying away from this unless you want to feel like a bag of milk after.

Devil Dawgs is always a treat. Ever since I first tried their Elvis Slider a few years back I've gotten it every time I went. Their slider patties are decently sized, I don't get more than a double for a good bread/meat/toppings ratio. The hot dogs I've had have all be great too. The cheese sauce they use is solid, better than most comparable hot dog joints in my opinion. This is a staple for me and my partner, we both love Devil Dawgs :)
