Old School Italian. The food is authentic and the atmosphere brings me back to when I was a kid. Best linguine and white clam sauce in the city. Pizza is a staple as well. This place is clean, friendly, and won’t disappoint. Kid friendly with a parking lot.
I was really impressed by their pizza. It would probably have been even better had I not carried it out. The pizza was strikingly similar to that of Countryside (a tavern in Des Plaines that I'm rather fond of). It's a soft, thin crust with an appropriate amount of cheese.
I also carried out wings and a steak sandwich. My girlfriend really enjoyed the sandwich and it was cooked to order. It was an actual steak and not chopped steak meat. The little taste I had was pleasant and would consider getting one myself if the pizza wasn't so good.
The wings here are not good. I'm not holding this against the grade solely because I order wings everywhere, and I came here mainly for pizza. I've only included it, so I don't order them again.
Even though I carried out my order, I did like the kinda rustic atmosphere the smaller side of the restaurant had. The much larger dining room appeared to be very spacious and capable of hosting a large party. Also to be included, a notable pizza cheese scent wafted throughout the air.
I certainly see a return trip here in the future, and I hope that I'll be dining in next time.
I don’t have any pictures to post because the pizza was gone in no time, just kidding but really folks that’s how good the pizza is. We ordered a sausage pizza, salad and meatball sandwich. All the best. Highly recommend. @food_from_the_usa
This place is like a little magical time warp back to the 80s, with amazing deep dish. Dino's puts the chain places to shame with their delicious deep dish and friendly service. It takes almost an hour to come out bc they make them fresh. But if you have the time, it is definitely worth the wait.
