Happy to finally eat here on a quick trip to Chicago. All the flavors are familiar but amped up in flavor and with something unexpectedly good.
Eggs are so fluffy yummy. Sandwich is perfect from bread to eggs. Curry is delicious, especially with the hashbrown (love this idea). Bowl is generous, unless you are a hungry student!
One of our favorite breakfast and lunch spots. Curry is my favorite.
Hope there is an option to make it spicy 🥹🫶🏻
This spot is amazing. As a vegetarian, I am used to breakfast spots having very plain sandwiches, not this restaurant. The flavors were great, multiple vegetarian options, and great service. The owner was there working and checking in with each customers. A great breakfast!
Thank goodness for a great food spot right by university. Our neighborhood needed this. Staff is SO friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. I got the steak and egg bowl plus a glass of fresh orange juice.
YUM. The balance of the savory steak with the eggs and rice in the bowl, so delicious. Not salty. Great flavor. Yah I added the Sriracha [it does not come on the bowl] so don't worry about spice for folks who don't like hot sauce. Good portion amount. Service was quick, so it was a perfect stop for me in between class. Definitely will be back to try one of the breakfast sandwiches.
This place is good! I got the steak and egg sandwich. The egg was soft scrambled which can be an odd texture for some people and it was for me but I pushed past it. The hashbrown was so crispy and delicious, way better than McDonald’s. The sauces were also very good. The restaurant is small and cozy with plenty of seating. This place is self serve, they have two tablets to order from. I don’t think they accept cash but they accepted my Apple Pay. The owner (I think) was the one who served me, he was also training a worker in the back and was very kind to him. I will be back. The food was great.
