I love trying vegan places. This place was good. We had brunch and tried the breakfast burrito and lox (loaded with veggies). Both were delicious and they gave pretty decent portions. Their hot beverages and cinnamon roll were great! Definitely would recommend.
Absolutely delicious. To foodies, it will make you pause and enjoy the flavor and depth of each dish. My company and i thoroughly enjoyed each plate. We had the cauliflower, quinoa, fried mushroom, Shepard’s pie, and raspberry torte. So amazing! The cocktails were smooth as are the specialty coffees. Can’t wait to come back.
A great opportunity to do something for your health, the planet, and the animals. Not to mention it’s DELICIOUS :) . The cinnamon roll is a slice of heaven. Support small business! A great addition to the neighborhood!
So happy to find this all-vegan restaurant! Very spacious both indoor and outdoor! The patio has both sunny and shaded areas and is amazing to enjoy on a nice day. Looking forward to returning to try more from the menu!
Chicago has gained a delicious, healthy and beautiful restaurant with the opening of Fancy Plants Kitchen. I have been a fan of Fancy Plants Cafe since discovering them a year ago and their creative take-home menus gave me something to look forward to during the pandemic. I went to one of Fancy Plants Kitchen's opening dinners and the menu was fantastic. I especially loved the pakoras and the gluten free version of the strawberry shortcake dessert. You can tell the owners truly love what they do and seek to elevate both local producers as well as give an outlet to the creativity of chefs. Regarding one of the below reviews, their croissants indeed have a different texture and consistency from the traditional butter-based croissants. I ordered 12 of them over the holidays - some people in my family loved them, and others could not get used to the different texture. This is something that can naturally happen when reinventing a vegan version of a classic, and I'm so thankful to Fancy Plants team for continuing to innovate. Looking forward to many more good times and conversations shared over a Fancy Plants meal!
