Why didn't we know about this place sooner?? Great coffee and food at decent prices for the heart of downtown Chicago. Friendly, attentive staff and a great "vibe". This is a place with a mission, and it shows in every aspect. This was our first visit...we're fans!
Very pretty place! Totally recommend the cashiers are friendly. The bakery goods are delicious as well are the drinks. The bathrooms and the entire place were clean and you could tell the place was well taken care of. 10/10 would visit again.
Always a great experience here. This was my first time at the Madison location but the staff was friendly and the patio was shady and calm mid-morning.
The service was a little chaotic, but I'm not sure if that's due to the people who work here or due to the people who patronize the place. It was more of a crowd around the cashiers rather than a queue.
I ordered the Santa Monica turkey sandwich. The bread was really unimpressive. It has the texture of Wonder bread. Very gluey. I would have thought that a place like this that advertises bakery in its name would have better bread. It came with a small fruit cup, and about half of the fruit in the cup was not ripe.
They have a nice patio where you can sit and eat your lunch. They have service to deliver the food to you at your table outside and to clean up your table after you're done eating.
Great muffins and coffee. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Biggest disappointment was the snotty women doing yoga right in front of the door. No way out but to step on their mat, and around them. Really tacky. That's why I gave it a 3 star.
