Happy Lamb Hot Pot

This is the 2nd Happy Lamb Hotpot. This is different from the original one in China Town. This one is a buffet where you get everything to cook except the meat off the buffet. The food is still good using the broths provided. The difference is the one in China town everything was brought out by the staff, which I prefer. China town location is now closed but is due to reopen possibly in May. They also have individual ice cream cups for desert. I just like their food😁

Really nice location on Halsted. The atmosphere was relaxed and chill. The booths are huge and very comfortable. There are also lots of TVs for sports fans to keep on top of the scores, but there was music playing in the background. The buffet was extensive, and the prices were not bad for all the food. Definitely go hungry. Soft drinks are included in buffet pricing. The servers were helpful and friendly.

Having been a loyal customer of Happy Lamb Hot Pot in Chinatown, I was thrilled to try out the newly opened location on Halsted Street. To my delight, the experience surpassed all expectations, making it my new favorite hot pot spot.

At an affordable price of $27.95 per person for all-you-can-eat, the value for money at Happy Lamb Hot Pot is unbeatable. The price includes a buffet-style spread for all dishes except the meat. This means no more waiting for servers to bring out veggies, seafood, or meatballs – you can dive straight into creating your perfect hot pot concoction.

The buffet-style setup is a game-changer. It ensures a seamless and personalized experience, allowing diners to explore a wide variety of ingredients at their own pace. The freshness and variety of vegetables, seafood, and other accompaniments make the dining experience both delightful and convenient.

The vibrant atmosphere of the Halsted location adds to the overall charm. The attentive staff and the efficient setup create an inviting environment for a cozy meal with friends or family.

I went there on a snowy day with my colleagues during the weekend. What made the experience even more special was witnessing the enjoyment of my colleagues. It's not just my personal favorite; everyone in our group loved it equally. Happy Lamb Hot Pot on Halsted has truly mastered the art of creating a welcoming space where flavors and camaraderie come together seamlessly.

I was there for my birthday. Food was excellent and the service was also very good. The waiter was very attentive. Besides the meat, everything else you get from the bar. There are appetizers, Rice and noodles as well. Kids are discontinued. You get a private room with 3 burners when you have a large group. Street parking was easier to find than the Chinatown location.

We love this new location of Happy Lamb!! As longtime Chinatown regulars we were very excited to try this new location.

First off we loved the bright, clean design. It's beautiful in here! Additionally the wall of TVs stood out, I love that touch!

The food was also a step up, the broth seemed a little more rich as well as the extremely tender beef. The lamb was also excellent of course.

The buffet style works, and I really appreciated the selection - all our favorites were there!

One thing to note is the tea egg 茶叶蛋 selection, thanks for adding that!

The sauce bar was also excellent here, the sesame sauce was a bit thicker which I really enjoyed.

The staff was all excellent and very helpful, service was quick and easy! Great job on that front as well.

So 10/10 this is a must try location if you love hotpot.
