    The tamales smack. Who would think a JJ pepper of all places would have bangin' homemade tamales?

    I always buy at least 20 tamales when I come here and they're gone in two days. They have a nice selection of snacks. Some rare finds that you can't find at the other local shops too.

    The lady and the gentleman are both very nice, super chill.

    Store was clean and well stocked. I found everything I came for. Staff and cashier were friendly and wore their masks.

    This place NEVER has cigarettes in stock. The people that work there are really nice but I rarely shop here anymore because of it.

    This is my favorite corner store so far. They have lots of awesome snacks and candy (some that you can't find at the big chains!) as well as tamales fresh daily, sliced fruit, and pastries. They also have a small selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, which comes in handy if I need one more tomato or onion. The staff is very friendly and there are a few who remember the things I like to get. Sometimes they run out of certain items, but that could be due to COVID-19. I like supporting a local shop !
