Knead Great Pizza

Food is pretty good. Service is extremely slow and the sauce tasted a bit odd. Additionally, we waited an hour to be seated when there was a free table for the hour we were waiting and by the time the reservation was filled, we had just been seated at the same time. Would probably not eat here again due to service.

Compelled to write this because it’s been 2+ years of making Knead our #1 choice in the city. You can’t beat the fresh ingredients & flavor of the wood fired pizza ...including a hard to find gluten / dairy free option. Amazing service every. single. time. Thanks for caring for your customers!!!!

Knead Pizza is the epitome of balance. The business is new, yet well established; their pizzas are classic, yet inspired; staff is professional, but also personable and attentive.

This is truly an experience that will leave you feeling as though you’ve once again rediscovered pizza for the first time; an oasis amongst the desert of uninspired, tales retold, “pizza” restaurants that proliferate the city of Chicago. Clear your schedule folks, this is an escapade you didn’t know your mind, body and soul “Kneaded.”

I am so impressed with the food and the energy of the staff at knead pizza. I have become so addicted to not only the pizza and the salads but almost the warm welcome I receive coming in every time. This truly a neighborhood place that you can go to enjoy a good time with friends and family gluten free options available.
Plus, I have talked with the owner who has seemed to work around the clock to keep this moving and he has done a fabulous job considering it's been a crazy year. I definitely can call knead my most favorite artisan pizza kitchen in Chicago to this day.
I'll be sending everyone here especially now that it's nice out and they have outside seating. I love KNEAD!

Let me start off by saying not only is this pizza phenomenal 🍕... but you can really see the passion Mike (the owner) really puts into each and every pizza that is made. The ambiance is welcoming, and makes you feel like you’re at home.

He went above and beyond to make sure my friends and I were fully satisfied/ enjoyed the experience.

I don’t write many reviews, but I just had too once I experienced this place.

You are doing yourself a disservice by not coming to this great family owned local restaurant, and trying some true classic Italian pizza with a flare.
