Lao Peng You

I heard really good things about this place but was kinda disappointed tbh..ordered the pork/chive which was good but missing some ingredients that were shown on menu. Got the beef also with chili broth which tasted like water. The part that upset me the most was getting overcharged. Both items were listed for $10 ea but got charged $26 n change

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

It's a perfect place for a spicy, phenomenal dinner. I always have to get the Dan Dan Noodles whenever I go

First of all, being born and raised in a country that you're not from made my taste very particular and just can't simply forget them (referring to Dan Dan Noodle and Dumplings). As I grew up, I've always wanted to go back to the place I was raised but never had the opportunity. Moreover, all the restaurants that served the food never quite provoked any nostalgia.

Lao Peng You (老朋友), I want to thank you for bringing me back my childhood memories and the taste I had forgotten for the longest time. Keep up the good work and I will be rooting for your business!

Delicious! Pork/mustard green dumplings taste and texture were DELISH. lamb/cumin bread was inspired and incredible! Will absolutely be going back. Also really easy no contact pickup and everyone was super nice. Great experience.

I've been to Lao Peng You many times, and there's a reason.

I've had the salad, most of their dumplings, and their noodle soups. ALL of them have high quality ingredients with delicious, unique flavor profiles. (The beef and green onion is my current go to.) The prices are very reasonable, considering the quality and amount of the food

The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere laid back, tastefully done. It feels warm and welcoming.
