Margeaux Brasserie

One of the best places I have ever had the privilege to visit in Chicago. A true jewel for the city!! Hands down a total winner all the way around!!

The Dover sole special was to die for. Also the staff really listens to questions and requests. For instance, I liked being able to discuss how my cocktail, in this case a Manhattan, was to be formulated--and the result was perfect.

Delicious food, lovely ambiance, and fantastic service. My wife and I came to Margeaux to celebrate our recent marriage, and our server, Kelly, did an outstanding job of helping us have a wonderful evening. We tried the oysters, tartare, duck wings, Brussels sprouts, macaroni, steak frites, and salmon Wellington - all of which were truly superb. From start to finish, Kelly and the entire staff made every effort to ensure we had a perfect evening. 5/5 stars and we will definitely be back very soon.

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Will go again. May stay for winter break.

Perhaps the pancakes were the best I’ve ever eaten. The rest of my parties eggs were cold. Coffee was awful. Ambiance was excellent
