Starters: service was super friendly. Also, staff were all wearing masks; guarantee someone at your local Jewel is not right now but MNT has it down!.
Food was absolutely spot on. Down home Mexican cuisine in an area that is totally lacking it. Fresh ingredients, well cooked meat, flavorful tortillas and not greasy! Guacamole was particularly refreshing, again, not drowned in mayo.
Ambiance on the inside is chill for a week night and 3 big screens make it a comfortable place to hangout. We'll accommodated patio area is available as well. Everything looked and felt clean to me.
As a bar, strong tap list and your usual liquor selection. Let's be real, you're not coming here for Chassagne Montrachet or a vintage Madeira. Have a marg and chill.

Great food and great service. I sat at the bar which has plenty of big screen TVs and had a few modelos while watching some college basketball. The service is always excellent and ownership seems to have the biggest hearts possible.

Food was great. Had the tinga tacos, and a margarita pitcher to go with it. Will definitely recommend!!

I knew the food would not disappoint. Chef Lou takes pride in making sure everything is up to his customers' complete satisfaction. What I did not expect was to absolutely love every single Margarita - I was able to sample from my sister and cousin.Whether it was the strawberry, mango, pineapple, avocado, apple cider, or hibiscus margaritas - they all get 5 stars. The service was excellent, as our waiter went above and beyond to make us comfortable. It was the first time mom and aunt had gone out to a restaurant since the pandemic. I live in Oak Park and it is definitely worth the drive there!!!
