Great old school style restaurant. Grecian chicken was fabulous, but they cook it to order, so you have to wait about 30 minutes. Service was great! They've been there for 86 years. Its nice to support local private businesses.
We were looking for a breakfast place and were not having any luck, but we were just down the street from Miller's Pub. Since it has been a longtime favorite on other trips to Chicago, we decided to give it a try. Although they were not really open yet, the staff were very accommodating and let us come in and get out of the heat.
They do not serve breakfast, but we waited for the lunch menu. We were offered coffee, ice water, and wine. It was a short wait for a pulled pork sandwich and a french dip. They were both superb.
The consistent great service and fantastic food make it a sure bet that we will go back on our next Chicago visit!
Since 1935. Good food, not skimpy portions, nice staff. Still reasonably priced for downtown. I started coming here in 1987 while I was working nearby. Been a bit since I've been back but we just enjoyed a wonderful lunch. I say give it a try.
A few police officers insisted that we try Miller’s Pub and I’m happy we did. The 4-Alarm burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. No exaggeration, I had an amazing meal I really tasted the meat the buns the sauces. I’m definitely coming back here. The atmosphere was great as well. My brother lived in Ireland while working and one thing he mentioned was the pubs. Coming here reminds me of the stories he’d tell me. It’s a very comfortable and chill pub I’ll for sure be a regular here. Love it. I’d recommend this place for anyone.
We had lunch there which was excellent. I had the Ruben which was just the right size and consistency meaning not too greasy so it stayed together. It went well with the old style beer. The only caveat is that the booths are a bit crowded so big guys will have an issue fitting into them.
