I’ve been to this restaurant on a couple of occasions and had a great experience each time. The food was great. The customer service was wonderful. Everyone greeted me with a smile. Not sure what happened with these other reviews but my experience was very pleasant

Service was great! The guy who took my order at night was extremely nice and helpful. The food was good too. The only thing was that the greens wasn’t really seasoned. Idk if that’s how they typically are or if maybe someone had a light hand with the seasoning that night, but it was none at all in the greens. Everything else was great including smothered chicken, Mac and cheese and dressing. The cornbread muffins was actually very good too.

I will go back and try the greens again because I always give stuff a second chance. Who knows what may have happened accidentally. But please don’t hold back on seasoning on the greens. Everything else was well seasoned so I’m sure it may have just been an accident that night :). 5 stars in my mind. I will be back.

For the first time, I ordered from the new Morrison's restaurant. I want to let the owner know that she did a great job with the ambience and decor. I love the affirmations that she had painted on the wall! I only ate at the old Morrison about two times. But, I intend to frequent your restaurant! Keep up the good work!

Excellent soul food a short walk from the red line.

I wanted to try some soul food in Chicago and a Google search brought up Morrison's, and boy I'm glad it did.

Located in a shopping center I walked in and knew I was in for some good food. The menu is pretty large and pretty much everything is on display as well.

I had the hot honey chicken with red beans, rice, and sweet potatoes for my sides. All of it was delicious. Now I gotta go back to try even more.
