I decided to try a new pizza place and My Pizza Kitchen did not disappoint. I enjoyed the buttery and flaky crust and gooey cheese. I'll definitely be back because I'm still reminiscing about the crust.
I found the thin crust pizza to be cooked exactly right and very tasty. I don't eat a lot of pizza but I had an appetite for pizza today. I am impressed for sure.
The owners are so friendly! Fair prices for a generous portion of cheese sticks or wings. The meatball sandwich with fries is delicious! The garlic bread and fettuccine combo is savory! Leave room for dessert too...many ice cream flavors and favorites (shakes or sundaes) from which to choose! You may dine in or out...remember your mask!
I live on the block and this place just opened a couple weeks ago. We had relatives over and this seemed like a great time to give it a try.
We ordered 2 different pizzas, both thin crust. They were EXCEPTIONAL! What a pleasant surprise. Great tasting sauce, lots of vegetables, decent and reasonably priced. On weekends, if you order 2 pizzas you get a free cheezy bread order (& 2 liter soda which we passed on). OMG! The cheezy bread sticks were the very best that I and all in our party ever had. The crust on both, the cheezy bread and pizzas was fabulous, but that cheezy bread, WOW!
We sat outdoors which had appropriate spac between tables and the atmosphere was pleasant. We're delighted that My Pizza Kitchen is open and that their food (thus far) has been excellent.
I'll try the Italian beef next time.
My kids had the thin crust cheese, and pepperoni slices of pizza. I enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. My family ordered the cheesy bread. The thin slice of tiramisu was almost $6 overpriced. We sat at the outdoor patio which was very nice. Overall a nice addition to east Rogers Park.
