Palm Court

My brother and I stayed at the Drake on our recent visit to Chicago and we went to Palm Court one evening to hear the Amanda Wolff Duo and have cocktails. The decor was beautiful with exquisite chandeliers and fountains. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing live music and seeing people dressed up, dancing and having a good time. The duo was very entertaining and the music was just the right level. Christine was our server and she was a sweetheart adorned with a very pretty headband. She checked on us regularly and remembered our choices even though she was quite busy. We did not want a full meal since we had a late lunch, so Christine ordered the turkey club and fries split and they brought it on separate plates and fry baskets. It was just enough and very tasty. Thank you, Christine, for a memorable evening.

The high tea service I had here was one of the most elegant experiences I’ve ever had. I took my fiancé on a surprise date here and he absolutely loved it. They were also very accommodating by switching out a different sandwich due to my allergy. We will be definitely be returning.
