I enjoyed dinner here on a weeknight right before their weekly bingo. Staff was very nice and checked on me a few times, including Philmore Green who was hosting bingo. Steven recommended a delicious N/A beer: Untitled Art's Mango Dragon fruit fruited Sour. The fried mushroom torta was put together well with a melted cheddar (I suspect it's Chihuahua), thin slices of avocado, and side of chipotle dip. It came with a generous side of fries.
I brought up my concern for the music volume, it can be harmful for staff over time, and the staff was receptive.
Wonderful bathrooms. And I appreciated all the hooks around seats. All the patrons were in a great mood. Can't wait to bring my friends here.
First time at Ramova. We had an appetizer and one main dish and 2 draft cocktails it was $73 before tip. Way to much in my opinion. Especially considering you order at the bar and the cocktails where draft. The drink were not good. We planned on having 2 drink each but decided to just have one. We maybe should have gone with th beer. The fish and chips were tasty but came with no coleslaw / veggies. The fish to batter ratio was about 60% batter 40% fish. In my opinion it should be the opposite. Will think twice about going again
We really enjoyed this spot. The staff was very friendly and attentive, we went on a Sunday around 6 and there was plenty of seating. Had no problem ordering our drinks and food with the bartender. Ordered the fries with vegan chili, the sliders (no cheese) and the artichoke collard greens dip. Everything was delicious and filling! Got a little flight to taste some of their house brews and enjoyed every one of those as well. I’m so happy we have a spot like this in the neighborhood. Was about $55 for everything which for two people is very reasonable. I’m excited to go back, take folks here and try some more of their drink menu! Also the music playlist was great
Still feels like a soft opening in the grill, lacking a bit of decor inside and hard to tell it's open from the outside. I think that will improve as things ramp up at the Ramova.
Food was awesome, duck fat corn dogs were fairly small but when dipped in the sauce they taste just like a Chicago style dog. Pizza in a cup was a great value for $12. Big crispy crust surrounding a cup full of delicious pizza inspired goo.
We tried the broccoli and the chicken and broccoli beers. Fun names and tasty, but not related to any broccoli taste from what I could tell.
Looking forward to seeing the grill develop more neighborhood identity, but off to a great start!
