Wow! What an amazing spot for coffee & pastries. We stopped in this morning to enjoy the heated patio and it did not disappoint. Please consider spending money here, rather than Starbucks! The quality was amazing and the service was great. They even offer a to-go option where you can contact them ahead of time and they will have your drink ready to go when you arrive. 10/10 would recommend!

I have been twice since this gem of a restaurant opened nearby my residence. This restaurant is perfect for date night, celebratory life dinners or brunches, or simply a casual night out. The service is friendly and on point. The food is excellent and well presented. The wine list is small, but represents a nice variety, with pricing that is easy on the wallet. The management is not only proactive and working the floor assisting the staff, but also making the rounds at the tables getting aquainted with the customers. This is an all around great restaurant and I am so happy the owners chose Rogers Park as the location.

We had such a great time at Semilla’s! I had the octopus, and my friend had the skirt steak. We highly recommend both items! I’m a huge octopus fan, and this one impressed me. We finished off the wine with mousse cake and port wine, which all was to die for. Thank you to the wonderful staff for excellent service! We will be back :)

Had a lovely dinner there last Saturday evening. Was greeted by the manager, Cory, who was very gracious. They have considerable outdoor seating, and are adding a lot of heating options for those, like me, who aren’t ready to venture eating indoors. My daughter ordered the salmon, and I got the chicken dish. Both were delicious and excellently served by our waiter, Jordan. Nice wine list as well. Will definitely go back, and highly recommend.

If you haven't eaten here yet, definitely do so! I have never given a restaurant 5 stars, but this location deserves an infinite number of stars. The food is authentic and delicious. It is also plated beautifully. The servers, the host, the manager, the bartenders, everyone on staff here is incredibly friendly and really knows the menu. They made amazing recommendations. I highly suggest getting the red sangria and ordering a ton of appetizers to share if you want a tapas-style type of meal. However, everything on their menu looks and sounds amazing. I will definitely be back with more friends to try more of the menu.
