Signature

Upscale bar in the south loop that feels more like a club, than a restaurant. Despite the daylight and the table settings, I found myself wanting to dance it up, the good music didn't help. We came just as they were transitioning from brunch service to dinner on a Sunday afternoon. It was just a quick bite during my layover before I flew back down south. She apparently loves this place and comes once a week if not more?! I can't afford those habits or calories. It was a quick walk from their place so I kind of understand. She ordered what she always does, the lobster roll plus brussel sprouts. I just went with the crab and artichoke dip appetizer. I didn't try her lobster, but the brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. Snagged a few of her tasty fries as well. My dip was rich and creamy, but could've used some actual lumps of crab, or at least artichoke. It was good, but for the price I needed to feel like I was not eating some TGI Friday's dip. And it would help if they cut the toasted bread more, it was difficult separating the roll slices even with a knife. I would've probably enjoyed it more if I was drinking and socializing...er reading at the bar while I snacked on something. As such it was a good 1st experience, and we'll probably hit it up again next time I'm in town.

I was a big fan of the previous restaurant Harbor, which used to be in the same location where Signature is now. I went there with high expectations and I have to say that the place continues to shine even though it is a completely new establishment. The decor is modern and elegant, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting.

I had the chicken and my girlfriend had the salmon, and both dishes were great. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The portions were fair and satisfying.

The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made us feel welcome and appreciated.

The only downside of Signature is that it is very popular and busy, especially on weekends. We tried to go there on a Saturday night, but since we didn't have a reservation, we couldn't find a table. The place was packed with people enjoying their meals and drinks. We decided to come back the next day, and luckily we were able to get a table without a reservation. However, if you are planning to go for dinner on a Friday or Saturday, I would definitely recommend to make a reservation in advance.

I would recommend Signature to anyone looking for a fun dining experience in the South Loop. It is a worthy successor to Harbor.

I was super excited to see a new restaurant pop up at this location because it has been empty for a while. Overall this restaurant was everything we had hoped for and more! The food was fantastic 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 we ordered the short rib nachos, the signature cheese burger, and spicy soppressata pizza. The burger was especially good because I really love the smashed burger style. Everything was so good which made us talk about what to try next time we visit 😆 for drinks we ordered the old fashioned and spicy situation. Both were one of the best we’ve had. Abby was our server and she was fantastic! Really happy to see a great addition to the neighborhood restaurant scene! Can’t wait to go back!

The HOSPITALITY when walking in was super welcoming!!
My family and I were seated. We ordered a couple drinks and a couple appetizers.
So, the appetizers let’s talk about the short rib nachos…… OMG!!!! That was the tastiest nacho dish I ever had!! The meat was so so soft and the taste was great!! I ordered the chicken sandwich and that was so moist juicy and delicious!! My son and his girl had the cheeseburger. They said it was a nice size burger and tasty.. there is a dill sauce that we got to try that only Signature bar has and it was so good using fries to dip, then I put it on my chicken sandwich it was so good!!!!! Also got to meet Izzy the owner and have to say so sweet and caring!! Came up to welcome us to his restaurant!! I loved it. The staff AWESOME!!!! Our server Jules, the bartender D, and others making sure we didn’t need for anything!!! They were very attentive to us. Just a great feeling being there and being taken care of. Will visit again soon!!! Best of luck to the owners!!! ❤️❤️

Stopped in for the first time this past Saturday, didn’t have a reservation so decided to sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail and a couple of small plates. The crispy salmon rice was divine! Brussels sprouts were also amazing. High quality food and drinks for a reasonable price. Service surprisingly quick despite only being open for a week. Really hope Signature makes it!
