Sip & Savor | 53rd Street - Hyde Park

I’m a senior who meets seven or eight other ladies for coffee every Friday morning At the 53rd St. coffee shop. We started coming to your shop a few weeks ago and I have to tell you the customer service that those girls have on Friday mornings that are there from about 10:30 to 12:30 are unbelievable. But they’re sweet, they have great manners, their customer service skills are impeccable, and most of all they’re so nice to us. I just wanted to thank you because it’s such a pleasure coming to your store my daughter and her partner *Now coming in for coffee because I told him how good it was. Thank you it’s nice to have a place to go for a bunch of seniors just to chitchat on a Friday morning, we appreciate you, thank you so much for your staff and what they do.

New to the area and decided to stop in for some coffee, I’m NOT a morning person and wanted to grab and go BUT was VERY intrigued by a barista named MEG! Very calming, patient and fast! I will be returning for my morning cup she was so inviting and walked me through the entire experience as well as asking if it was my first time here as she saw I looked confused, I love how she payed attention to me and made my experience very smooth.. reviewing because the world needs more people like this and the coffee was amazing she insisted on steaming my cream instead of allowing me to use the creamer that had been sitting out .. very unique! 5 stars!

This place is amazing! I am so glad that I stumbled across it on google. As a college student, it was very nice and cozy to study. The baristas were very friendly and helpful introducing me to the place. Food and coffee was superb. I will be returning on the regular for more study sessions!

The place is overrated and overpriced to my taste. We came here a few times for coffee, and every time it was overheated to the point that I couldn’t touch the cup 🥵. Lattes had almost no foam, and almond milk latte had super weird texture, like if the milk wend bad 🤨(picture attached). And that’s for 5.75 per 12 oz cup + tip. The service is ok.

I hope their food is better than their coffee, otherwise I don’t see why people are coming here. You’ll get better coffee for better price in literally every other place in the neighborhood.
