Great directions. I haven't been yet but have a parking pass I'm using September 30th. Directions were spot on. Very close parking to the stadium (Soldier Field). The only downside is that the parking is close quarters. Overall a good experience.

Came here for a Light Festival. 10/10. Beautiful.

This is a convenient parking lot on the North side of McCormick. I typically use it when going to the Chicago Auto Show. If you park on the South end, the distance walking outside is short, which is good, since the show is typically in February. The hike to the main Halls is a bit long, as you have to go through the Lakeside Hall and across Lake Shore Drive, at least you are protected from the elements. As typical for parking in Chicago downtown area, the prices are high. I paid $25 flat fee.

Great place to tailgate. I have always taken a cab there so not sure how easy/expensive the parking is but plenty of fun to be had before a Bears game. Even tailgated for the All Blacks vs. Ireland game there and man do rugby hooligans know how to get rowdy.

Yup it's a paved lot for parking and can be rented for special events.
