Single-use plastic is used for everything from cups to caps, from straws to spoons; to every sandwich, pastry, and plastic utensil... all sealed in a plastic wrap. I long for the days of yore, when metal utensils were available, ceramic in-house mugs were served, and pastry items were baked locally.

(October 25, 2018, 4:36 pm)Great Starbucks to hang out at with a VERY diverse crowd. There's a nice outdoor seating area for warmer months. In general it is a bit chilly inside, so even in summer it's advisable to bring a jacket (or long sleeves) if you're planning on sitting inside for extended period Staff has always been helpful and friendly, so that's a plus. Just steps away from the El, so very accessible.
