    Great food, great service!
The chefs were wonderful. I had the 12 piece omasake. Every bite was Devine. So fresh and flavourful. I recommend this place. The sushi chefs were so nice. I would definitely come back.

We had a blast celebrating at the speakeasy omakase inside the Emily Hotel. From a price point, this is much more affordable than others around the city, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality for the cost.

The room had a cool underground hip hop vibe. The chef did a good job explaining each piece, but it was less conversation about the whole design of the menu than we typically get at an omakase experience. We opted for the Bougie 17-piece package which was the right move.

Highlights for me were the scallop, surf and turf, spotted prawn, mackerel, and the Big Mac, which is an upgrade piece when your meal is finished.

(Pro tip: you wait in the lobby for them to get you at your reservation time, so get drinks at the bar while you wait)

My friend and I dined here for the 12 course Omakase experience while listening to old school hip hop. Sushi and hip hop together is an amazing combination. It has an intimate feel and vibe. I previously worked in the restaurant industry and I have to give props to the amazing staff!!!

Skye (that’s SkyE) was our amazing hostess of the evening. She has the BEST energy and made everyone feel welcome and made sure our needs were met at all times. Jose was hands down the BEST bartender I’ve ever had and made amazing cocktails. He was friendly, talented and had great energy. Skye, Jose and the sushi chefs are next level amazing!

The sushi was hands down some of the best, freshest and most delicious sushi I have had the pleasure of eating. We will absolutely be back and we will bring more people with us! Thank you for a great evening and a perfect way to end the weekend!

First time trying omakase. We choose this location particularly because of the hip hop music & that it didn't seem too formal. Love the vibe & music, plus decorations. All staff were accommodating & friendly. The food was delicious.
They are on a set time schedule so I believe every sitting is by hour so make sure you arrive on time. We eat fairly fast so sitting at a restaurant for an hour is just enough time. Depends on your preference.

This is a very good intro to Omakase. The traditional intimacy with the chef is mixed with a modernized take of the atmosphere (which they advertise - blasting hip hop, fast pace, etc). Good quality of the food but simple menu with all the common pieces. So if you’re just getting into sushi/ not the most adventurous eater, this one is for you. I would definitely recommend doing the extended version of the menu, worth it. We got the sake and it was great as well.

Also have to compliment chef! He was a great time, charismatic, good energy and thoughtful with his craft.
