This place is worth a try. They have big portions for affordable prices. Regularly well organized and with excellent vibes. Would recommend to others.
Really enjoyed our take out meal. Their specialty rolls were delicious and carried really well. The sweet potato tempura was a standout app. I wish they had a tamago sushi option and I hope that they replace the take out containers with more sustainable options. I’ll definitely be returning in the near future!
I would give this restaurant 4 stars for food and ambiance but they need better ventilation. The place filled up with smoke from frying food. Our eyes started to water from the smoke. They have a large front window and I asked our server if he could open the window to let out some of the smoke, get some air circulation, and he said no. With everything going on and the warmer weather, I was shocked. Our hair and clothes wreaked of frying oil. If we had plans after we noticeably would have smelled. I have my wool coat airing out on my patio but I think I might have to get it dry cleaned. We will be back, but now we know not to dress up.
The sushi rolls was a fair price for pretty standard portion sizes. My favorite was the Mexican Crunch, though the California Sunset and Super Crunch roll were also great. The sweet potato roll appetizer was a bit boring. Their BYOW (bring your own wine) policy seems like a really great deal. The ambience was nice and service was very attentive. Overall I enjoyed my meal and would love to return.
This is such a great place to grab sushi. It's always fresh and the service is on point. They have some seating inside but mostly outside. I've had their Shrimp tempura and spicy tuna and it just simply AMAZZZZINNNNGGG. I've been twice and it's a easy 5 walk from where I live in Pilsen. Love it.
