My partner & I go here every other week because it’s just THAT GOOD. The ingredients of the sushi are fresh, and the flavors just sing together. The black chicken katsu is a comforting favorite. As you can tell from the pictures, the plating is immaculate and portion sizes are just perfect to leave you satisfied. We ❤️ Takibi & always look forward to our visits here!

No idea how this place isn’t more busy! I’ve been here four times and enjoyed everything I had: the negi hamachi roll, the salmon roll, the unagi mango, the crazy, spicy tuna, and edamame. We especially enjoyed the edamame and unagi mango. The edamame was seasoned perfectly and the unagi mango just melted in your mouth it was so cohesive and delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was when we got takeout edamame it didn’t have the same seasoning. Obviously since I’ve only had the rolls and the edamame as mentioned, I can’t speak for the bowls, ramen, or nigiri (yet). Photo is of negi hamachi and edamame.

My favorite restaurant and Sushi in Rogers Park! The owner/chef who is always there is a delight! He always greets us with a smile and is very polite. The food is amazing and there are many unique options on the menu! I tried the Lion Roll tonight and it was delicious. They have some new decor now and the place is very cozy. The art on the wall is super cool too! Always a great experience and I am already excited to return 10/10

I found this new place (maybe a new owner), and I am glad I did. It's a small and quiet place. I found out that the owner is an artist and has drawings that he drew displayed on the wall. This explains how his carefully prepared dishes are delicious and artistic. Highly recommend.
