Tacos and Korean food! Nice blend of spices and flavors! Tried the trio of tacos: Bulgogi beef, chicken and pork. All were delicious! If you like Kim Chi, the fries are a must!
Are you kidding me? This place is unreal. 5 stars no question. Kimchi fries - ANY burrito - the wings — you literally can’t go wrong. Everything is ?. Not to mention it’s just good people too.
This place is INSANELY good!! We were drawn here because of all of the kindness and generosity the owner shows on a neighborhood Facebook group. Over the phone and in person, the owner seems just as genuine and kind as his posts have lead us to believe. We ordered takeout on a Saturday night and the food was ready and waiting for us in 25 minutes. We had the sweet chili shrimp tacos, beef bulgogi tacos, bbq chicken quesadilla, and kimchi fries (that I had talked myself out of ordering but was pleasantly surprised when the owner threw them in for free!). We constantly went back and forth between what item was our favorite, as they each had such unique flavors. We typically don’t choose unfamiliar restaurants too often, and especially not one with unfamiliar cuisine.. but this place hit it out of the park. The fusion of Korean and Mexican was everything we never knew we wanted. I can’t tell you how many times I said “mmm” while eating. Simply incredible food and humans here. We’ll definitely be back-with pantry items for the Love Fridge!
Absolutely delicious! Couldn't decide on just a couple of items so we got tofu and beyond tacos, a bulgogi burrito, kimchi fries, both kinds of shrimp, and a side of salsa Verde. I was very impressed with all the items. Staff was super friendly. Can't wait to eat there again
Had a great experience at TaKorea Cocina! As a thank you to teachers/school admin, the owner was offering a free meal to anyone showing their school staff ID this week, so decided to drag my mom along (who is a teacher) and try this neighborhood spot that has been on my list for a while. This isn’t the first time they’ve run specials that give back to the community, so love that and already started off on a good foot there. Staff was delightful too, and really mindful of social distancing, so bonus points there!
We shared a bbq chicken quesadilla and order of tacos- mix of chicken and the bulgogi carne asada. Sat outside at one of the tables which was lovely. The quesadilla was good- fell apart a bit and I would have liked it crispier, but loved the spicy mayo-esq sauce (I think it’s called Tako sauce there?) that came with it, and the bbq chicken itself was delicious. Good portion size for the price too! Where they really shine was the takos... bbq chicken had kind of the same flavor profile as the quesadilla, but WOW the carne asada was amaaaaaazing. So juicy and flavorful, but still smoky and crisp crunch bits in it. The bulgogi flavoring was on point, and I love that they double up on corn tortillas.
Will be back to try the bowls, shrimp and kimchi fries!! Glad we stopped by and looking forward to next time.
