We come here for breakfast at least every other month. It goes without saying that their famous oatmeal shakes are outstanding. They are thick and rich (unlike the thinner version at Irazu, which is also good, but a different animal altogether). We usually get the granola shake. The menu is good and varied, with lots of American, Mexican, and vegetarian choices, plus some nice bonuses like blintzes. My husband almost always gets the excellent chilaquiles, and depending on my mood I get the country breakfast or one of the many items with spinach. The inside has cool original artwork on the walls and the outside patio is charmingly decorated. It's a good, reliable, friendly, comfortable, all-around not-too-fancy yet not-too-basic place to eat. It's on our list of favorites.
Best chilaquiles I ever had. I like to order them with the eggs and chorizo. Also their fruit shakes are good. If driving it is easy to miss the first time you go. They need a better sign that stands out.
Great service! The food is delicious and nice portions. I’m pretty sure we were greeted by the entire staff. They all came by to make sure we were satisfied until we walked out the door. Definitely coming back! I highly recommend the tiztal chorizo scramble, French toast, fresh squeezed OJ and/or fruit smoothies. Everything is freshly prepared with quality ingredients.
Been there many times for lunch. The outside patio is on the small side but quaintly decorated and intimate. Still, accommodations have been made for social distancing. The food isn't gourmet if that's what you're looking for. However, it is consistently good with generous portions. Staff are friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Discounts are offered for cash but this may need to change in light of the pandemic. If you haven't been there, give it a try.
The food was very good! And this place was very clean. They've been there 11 years and I asked if it was new. They have a lot of vegetarian options (at least for breakfast I didn't go there for lunch). Service was good. They have these oatmeal smoothies that we got a free sample of and these seem like a delicious quick breakfast option.
