“The best shrimp boil I’ve had so far! The potatoes are huge, so generous amount there. The House Special sauce I got with it was amazing. The hush puppies and gumbo were really good as well. The staff were all super friendly and attentive. I went here around 3:30pm, so the restaurant was empty and quiet at that time. I’m glad to have found a place in the city with a delicious boil.”

Shelia even came out the kitchen to speak to a few people. Which I thought was cool. Far as the food I order the smother pork chops and Mac & cheese and Green. By far the Mac and cheese was the star of my plate. Pork chops was good could've been better and the greens had too many stems but was pretty good. Overall I enjoyed my dinner and will be back soon. “I reluctantly agreed to this place for lunch. A coworker told me about another similar place nearby, but I hadn’t mustered up the courage to buy $20 worth of seafood in the hood. However, looking at their prices and proximity to the workplace I agreed to try it out. We have decided to make this a weekly splurge. The food was amazing. Restaurant quality. I ordered tilapia and shrimp for around $17. HEAPING portions and well seasoned food are the key players here. The flavor was not overpowering, and the plate didn’t look messy and rushed. The guy cooking and running the joint was by himself this day but I couldn't tell. The fish, broccoli, and potatoes were perfectly cooked respectively. Tons of flavor and more than I could eat in one sitting. I have dinner too! They are off to a fantastic start!”

“One of my favorite coffee shops to visit on the south side! The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Erica, the barista was very welcoming and offered suggestions on things to order and Julian, the cook took good care of me and my friends who met to co-work. All of our food was freshly prepared, all the way down to the homemade croutons. I will definitely be back for the fresh salads and warm ambiance. Not to mention the music set the mood!”
