“Do you like fancy tacos? Forget everywhere else, these are the best fancy tacos in Chicago. Hands down. I’ve tried them all. I mean, fresh homemade blue corn tortillas, just for starters, tortillas worth eating all by themselves. The fillings are generous, and interesting, and bursting with flavor. I am so glad they reopened. Check this place out!”

“Bloom was an interesting experience. The food was tasty and very well presented. What frustrated me dining experience. We made a reservation for 8:30 on a Thursday and immediately upon talking to the host, we were old that the kitchen will be closing soon, so if we want to eat we should order our food as quick as we can. Once sitting down we were told this fact again by our server. This wasn't the best tone for the start of the meal. I understand they were just letting us know, but then don't allow people to book an 8:30 reservation. Everything about the dining experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. We were asked multiple time by different employees if we were done eating, and if the should take our plates away. I assume this wouldn't have happened if we were there at an earlier time. Other than that, no issues with the food, when asked what kale caviar is, I was told caviar made from kale, f me. Also, I thought the Gin theme was different, and when asked why Gin, the answer was that it had the right vibe. I will not be asking any more questions.”

“I have ordered from this place on a few occasions. So far everything that I have tried, I have liked. I find their food to be more flavorful than my regular go to Chinese place. My favorite thing is the spicy beef fried rice. Yummy! My 4 star rating is based solely on the price as it is kind of pricey BUT every time that I have ordered, the portions have been big. As you can see in the pictures, I had a nice bowl of rice and barely made a dent in the container as it was over stuffed and the way that it was stapled shows that lol. I’m always up for something different in the neighborhood.”

“I was happy to see this spot had opened after the other fish place here had closed for 2 years! The guy who took care of me name Justin was really nice and even gave me a free bottle of water and brought our food out to the car as I had my two small kids in the car and it was raining heavily. Really good fish chips and fries and the prices were reasonable. My family will definitely be returning!”

“This was without a doubt the best sushi I have ever had and I’m 67! We started off with appetizers of crab Rangoon and chicken wings. I know, at a sushi restaurant chicken wings?! The wings were delicious, but the sauce they serve with the wing was unbelievable, unbelievable!! The crab Rangoon‘s are sometimes cream cheesy tasting these were crab tasting with just a subtle taste of cream cheese. I haven’t even gotten to the rolls. Amazing, did I say amazing?! I cannot even describe the feeling in my mouth as I tasted each one of the four different rolls that we purchased. I will post pictures. I would talk for about an hour about the different textures the spicy, the sweet, the crunchy! This place is a must go to. I drove from Oak Park and traffic down Cicero Avenue and will be a regular. I didn’t get the chef’s name but had time to chat with the owner, Guam. I’ll let him tell you about the amazing cuisine!!! I loved this place!!!”

“I dined here for the first time last night. The style and decor was great. The lobster roll was top notch, maybe best I have ever had. The rest of the meal was fine. The only reason I give a 4/5 was the music. My guest and I really thought it clashed with the environment. But I would still go back. Great place!”
