“I got the braised pork glass noodles (gf) which were amazing, I am gluten free (by choice not celiac and am not vulnerable to cross contamination so don’t base off of this for gf) I was looking for good gluten free options in Chinatown and happened to stumble upon this place on accident while ordering bubble tea nearby. The customer service is very good. My girlfriend who is not gluten free ordered the regular braised pork noodles and also loved them. If you normally don’t eat spicy foods definitely get the “no spicy” option for your broth, it is still flavorful and tasty. 10/10 would eat there again”

“Genuine and authentic Hunan cuisine. Chicago has lacked a teal Hunan restaurant since Lao Hunan closed. The spice level is high, but not to the extent that it obliterates other flavors of the ingredients. The Cumin Lamb has a more varied range of spices than the same dish elsewhere. The eggplant with green beans was particularly delicious. A mild house special soup was a good contrast with a nice rich broth. Without question one of Chicago’s finest Chinese restaurants.”

“The salmon rested on a bed of creamed corn that I could've also enjoyed as solo dish. Everything complimented one another, the asparagus was perfectly cooked and had the right amount of crispness. The salmon was scrumptious. The cornbread with the honey butter was an add on but was just as good with the entire meal. Portions were great and I was very pleased after trying Mustard Seed. Looking forward to ordering again soon.”

“AMAZING!!! I've ordered from here on multiple occasions. Not once have I been let down. Milk Tea is amazing providing variety. The food is great, the Chicken sandwich provided everything I could want, lettuce, tomato, onion, choice of sauce and delicious meat. Green Beans are VERY Flavorful and the fries top any other I've had with a delicious potatoes taste. I would recommend going her no matter how close or far, its definitely worth it. 🐼”

Ian in the kitchen answered the phone, helped me find a seat at the bar, and even called me when he saw there was a cancellation for the night of. The hostess is super friendly, as are all of the servers. The food… second to none. With all the hype over the new fancy interior Italian restaurants in Chicago, you won’t find better food anywhere outside of Elina’s. I go out to dinner 2 or 3 times a week and try new places, but I went back to Elina’s a week after I tried it; it’s that great. This is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in the city.”

“The BEST chicken and waffles. I tell everybody to go to Porkchop for the chicken and waffles. I dined here with a group. We all had some local brews and shared pork tacos, mac and cheese, chicken tacos, and bacon shrimp before our meal. Again, the chicken waffles are also good. The chicken is thin, think schnitzel, and roughly the size of the waffle. This is so much better than a bunch of chicken fingers piled on a waffle. Also, the syrup is perfectly seasoned. You've got to try it. Our group loved the decor- we sat next to a chain link and saw wall down the middle of the dining room. It's a pretty cool aesthetic. Unlike most places on Randolph, they take reservations.”

“I ordered a caring order for 50 people. I had a tall order but they went above and beyond and delivered as promised. The food taste great. Everything was hand made and perfect. They made my office party elegant and the food was plentiful. We will be back and the became our new favorite. The veggies tacos were the best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor and veggies. Surprisingly without meat. Everyone loved their steak and chicken tacos. Rather getting a carting order or take out it will be amazing. They are worth every penny.”
