    BRASAS is one of those hole in the wall places you hesitate to write a review for because you don’t want the secret getting out. Spectacular Mexican food, but the best part is that after 20 years of searching I finally found a chimichanga that meets my wife’s standards. She grew up right on the border and had given up finding one of her favorite comfort food. The chimichanga here is crisp and fluffy, never soggy, and has real steak inside. No fake cheese sauce here either.

    My husband and I were in town for the weekend from Indy and decided to not go to our typical “fancy” restaurant in downtown Chicago... needless to say this was the best decision of our LIVES. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. This is also the first google review I’ve ever felt lead to write. Enough said.
