That place is like walking down memory lane for the best homeland cuisine taste. Luckily im out of state and cant be there every day. Great food, simple restaurant, crazy busy around noon and really fast service. I loved it since the first day i ate there 3years ago.

I walk in based on the reviews for a good lunch place in the area. I had no idea that there would be no English speakers here! Or that there would be no English menu. Thankfully everyone is very helpful and everyone seems to know each other. It felt like I couldn't go 5 minutes without someone walking through the door and getting recognized by someone sitting down. I got a suggestion from another customer for the pork chop (if I eat meat) or the bean soup (if I didn't). The chicken soup was also a good recommendation but I decided to go with the pork chop.

I chose the pork chop and fries and was looked at with surprise. I wasn't sure if this was because I was ordering an English or if it was because I didn't call ahead. Nick asked me, "Are you ordering for now?" I saw that everyone else during the lunch rush had pretty much ordered ahead in the lunch rush (it was before noon on a Tuesday) and he instructed me to take a seat. Not sure how long I would wait I started a timer and it wasn't 10 minutes later until I had a nice juicy pork chop and large plate of fries served with a what seemed to be a full loaf of bread. All of this came out to be about $12.50. I ate as much as I could cleared my table to the counter, paid, and left.

If I were to come back I would definitely get the pork chop again, but I would probably choose a healthier side after having been served at loaf of bread with my fries. Maybe a salad... Definitely a good place for lunch and I wish someone would translate the menu.
